Last summer I was asked to design some paper plates and napkins with coral as the main color and I'm happy to say they are now for sale at...wait for it...Party City!!! And wouldn't you know it, Living Coral is the Pantone Color of the Year! Funny how those things work out ;) Anyway, the flower plates were hand painted in watercolor as well as the plaid napkin and the others were hand drawn including the boho style plate, diamond napkin, and dotted dessert plate. I hope you have a Party City nearby and can go check them out in person. If not, you can find them online here!
Hey hey! I was flipping through my HGTV Magazine the other night and what do I find? My doormat design featured as part of the Front Door of the Month! I designed this doormat in collaboration with Entryways and it's great because it's more of a winter design so you can keep it out for longer than just the holidays. It is now for sale at Bed, Bath & Beyond, Houzz, Gilt and more!
With the new year in full swing I decided to challenge myself creatively and have been starting to use some different techniques in my designs. I've started painting a bit and decided there's no better time than the present to enter Spoonflower's painting challenge! As it turns out, the extra work is paying off because I placed 8th out of 330 designs! It's very exciting since this is my first win at Spoonflower! The fabric is now available for sale and the lovely people at Spoonflower have provided me with some professional pictures of the fabric. It looks amazing! If you like to sew, you can order fabric by the yard or precut patterns over at Sprout Patterns. And if you're not a sewer, there's home decor items available like pillows, placemats, napkins, and even chairs (which are fabulous!) available for sale over at Roostery. Check it out!
